Privacy Policy
Grace & Truth is a small daily devotional. This page explains what we collect and why, in plain words. It covers this website, our email newsletter, and our iOS and Android app called Grace & Truth.
What we collect
- Newsletter: your email address, the date you signed up and confirmed, which page you signed up from, the country your request came from (a rough location based on your connection), and the dates we sent you emails.
- App: if you sign in, we use Firebase Authentication (Google) to create and manage your account, which holds your sign-in details such as your email address or sign-in provider ID. If you subscribe, payments are handled by Apple or Google, and our subscription provider RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription status so we can unlock your access.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
- To send you the daily letter you asked for.
- To run the app, sign you in, and manage your subscription.
- To keep the site secure and working.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your email address with advertisers. We only share data with the service providers that help us run Grace & Truth (such as Cloudflare, Google Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, and our email delivery provider, Emailit), and only for the purposes above.
Every email will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also write to us at hello@graceandtruthdaily.com and we will remove you.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@graceandtruthdaily.com. App users can also request account deletion by email. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Retention
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. App account data is kept while your account is active.
Children
Grace & Truth is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
