Day 1 · Light in the Dark
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
Isaiah 9:2 (KJV)
Pray
Father, You know the places in me that still feel dark. The worry I carry into the evening, the room in my heart I keep the door closed on. Shine there first this Advent. Help me stop waiting for things to be bright before I come to You. You are the light, and You came to people just like me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Questions
When do I start?
Start on Sunday, November 29 (the first Sunday of Advent) or on December 1. If you start December 1, Day 25 lands on Christmas morning with Luke 2:11. Days are numbered, not dated, so starting late is fine.
Is this a printed book?
No. It's a PDF you download right after checkout (60 pages, US Letter). Print at home on US Letter or A4, single or double sided. Nothing ships in the mail.
Can I use it on my phone or tablet?
Yes. The PDF opens on any phone, tablet or computer, so you can read the verse and pray the prayer on screen. On an iPad or tablet you can open it in GoodNotes or Notability and write on the journal pages with a stylus. Or keep a notebook beside your phone.
Can I print more than one copy?
Yes, print as many copies as you need for yourself and your home, for example a fresh copy each year, or give one as a gift. Please don't post the file publicly or sell it.
Which Bible translation is it?
King James Version only. Every verse is printed in full and checked word for word against the KJV. The readings and prayers are written by Grace & Truth.
Can I use it with my family or small group?
Yes. Each day's verse, reading and prayer take a few minutes to read aloud. Print a copy for each person in your home.
