Prayers for Your Children
Loving a child means carrying a worry you can never fully put down. You can't follow them into every classroom, car or conversation, but you can pray for them in every one.
These are prayers for sons and daughters of any age, and for grandchildren too. Use their names. Below are King James verses about children, and new prayers for children from our daily letter.
God,
Lord, I bring You my children. You loved them before I ever held them, and You love them more than I can. Guard them where I can't go. Put good friends beside them and wise voices in their ears. When they're scared, let them remember You're near. When they wander, keep a light on for them. Give me patience for today and the right words at the right time. Let them grow up knowing they are loved by You and by me.
