Prayers for Peace
The world is loud: the news, the feed, the arguments, the endless notifications. Peace isn't the absence of trouble. Jesus said "in the world ye shall have tribulation" in the same breath that He promised His peace.
These prayers ask for the peace that keeps your heart and mind in hard seasons. Pray one when everything feels noisy. Below are King James verses about peace.
God,
Lord Jesus, You said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you." I need that peace today. Quiet the noise in my head. Settle my heart when I start spinning. Keep me from carrying arguments that aren't mine to carry. Let Your peace stand guard over my mind like a soldier at the gate. Make me a peacemaker in my home and in my words, and let me rest in You.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
