Night Prayers Before Sleep
Night is when the day's worries get loud. The house is quiet, the lights are off, and the mind keeps replaying what went wrong.
A night prayer is a way of setting the day down. You tell God what happened, you leave what you can't fix with Him, and you rest like someone who is held. Pray one of these before sleep, then read a verse or two from the Psalms that were written for nights like this.
God,
the day is done, and I'm handing it back to You. Thank You for what went right, even the small things. Forgive me for what I said too fast and what I left undone. The worries I'm still holding, I'm putting in Your hands now, because I can't solve them at midnight and You never sleep. Watch over the people I love tonight. Quiet my mind and let me rest in Your peace.
