Prayers for Your Marriage
Marriages rarely fall apart in one day. They drift in small silences and unhealed hurts. They are often rebuilt the same way, one honest conversation and one prayer at a time.
Whether your marriage is strong, tired or hurting, these prayers are a place to start. Pray for your spouse, not only about them. If there is abuse or danger in your home, please reach out for help and safety first; God does not ask you to stay in harm's way.
God,
I bring You my marriage, the good parts and the tired parts. Thank You for the person You gave me. Forgive me for the times I keep score, raise my voice, or go quiet when I should speak. Teach us to be kind to one another, tenderhearted and quick to forgive. Where we've drifted, draw us back toward each other and toward You. Be the third strand in this cord, so it isn't quickly broken.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses about marriage and love (KJV)
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.
