Prayers for Strength
Some seasons take more than you have. The caregiving doesn't stop, the job is crushing, the news keeps coming. Being strong all the time is not the goal. Being held is.
These prayers ask God for strength for today, not for the whole year at once. Pray one when you have nothing left. The verses below have carried weary people through every kind of hard day.
God,
I'm running on empty. I've been strong for everyone else, and I don't have much left for me. You give power to the faint, so I'm asking for Your strength in place of mine. Help me get through today, just today. Show me what I can set down and who I can lean on. When I feel weak, let Your grace be enough. Be my rock, my fortress and my help in trouble.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
