God,
It's the first Sunday of November, and the house is still asleep. Before church, before the dishes, before the news, I'm giving You the first hour of this month. Set the pace from the very start. Let me walk slower, listen longer, and notice You in the small things.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses for the morning
It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
