God,
Guard my family when I can't. On the highway and in the parking lot, at school and at work, in the places I'll never see. Keep them from harm and from anyone who means them ill. When I wake up worried for them, remind me that You never sleep.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses about God's protection
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
