God,
The doctor's appointment is Thursday, and my body is tired of hurting. Lord, I'm asking You for healing, and I'm asking You for peace while I wait. Guide the hands and minds of everyone who treats me. Whatever the week brings, let me feel You near.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses for sickness and healing
Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
