God,
For everyone waiting on a scan, a diagnosis, or a call from the doctor this week, Lord, sit with them. Give them peace in the waiting and strength for the news. Be near.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses for sickness and healing

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
