God,
The house is quiet and the dishes can wait until morning. Before I sleep, I'm laying down every unfinished thing from today. Lord, I did what I could. The rest is Yours. Watch over this home through the night, and let me wake up rested in You.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses for sleep and rest
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
