Daily Prayer for Wednesday, November 4, 2026

Today's letter to God and King James verse of the day.

God,

It's Wednesday, the middle of the week, and I'm running on less sleep than I'd like. Before the emails and the dishes, I'm stopping here with You. Give me enough strength for today and not a drop of worry for Friday. Walk ahead of me into every room.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Tonight's verse
11If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 12Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.Psalm 139:11-12 (KJV)

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
