God,
Cover my family today. On the roads, in the classrooms, at work, and on the late drive home. Keep harm far from our door and fear far from our hearts. When I can't watch over them, I trust that You never close Your eyes.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses about God's protection
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
