God,
I took my work home again. The emails followed me to dinner and into bed. My job is not my god, but some weeks I treat it like one. Teach me to rest on the day You give me. Help me trust that the world keeps turning when I put the laptop away.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses about work
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
