God,
It's the last day of October, and for once nobody needs me before eight. Before I fill this Saturday with errands, I'm sitting here with my coffee and giving You the first quiet minutes. Slow my hands and my heart. Let me notice You before I notice my list.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
