God,
Lord, I lift up everyone in pain today who has to smile through it. The chronic ache, the treatment no one sees, the bills that came with it. Be their strength in the hard hours, and send them good doctors and kind help.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
