God,
Before you sleep, let's pray together. Lord, take the weight of today off these shoulders. Forgive what went wrong, keep what went right, and watch over every home through the night. Give us sweet sleep.
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses for sleep and rest
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
