God,

I lay awake again at 2 AM doing math that never adds up. I confess I've been trying to carry tomorrow on my own. You told me to be careful for nothing, and I've been careful for everything. Take this weight back, Lord. Give me today's bread, and today's peace.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Bible verses about anxiety and worry

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
